I’m sure most of you have been keeping track of the injury situation that has blighted us this season, so here’s a quick round-up of where we are. Firstly the most recent news is that Mighty Joe doesn’t require the surgery that would have kept him out for the rest of the season, as was initially feared, and he will hopefully be fit and raring to go in 4 – 6 weeks.

The very good news is that Ben Castle, Wayne Evans, Ashley Smith, Alex Walker and centre Pat Leach, are all on the cusp of returning to action, with most hoping to be back in time for the game next week against Glawwwwsterr at Dave Parade, or soon after in the LV= cup.

Nigel Hall and Phil Price are both still sidelined, with Hall targeting the return to Magners League against Ulster at Ravenhill for his return.
